3J01 alloy is an iron nickel chromium high elastic, corrosion-resistant, and weakly magnetic alloy. After solid solution treatment, it has good plasticity, low hardness, and is easy to process and form. After solid solution or cold strain aging treatment, high mechanical and elastic properties can be obtained.
This type of alloy has high strength, high elastic modulus, small elastic aftereffect and hysteresis, weak magnetism, good corrosion resistance and thermal stability, and can work under high temperature, high stress or corrosive medium conditions. 3J1 can operate below 250 ºC and can also be used at low temperatures (such as near -200 ºC).
3J1 aging process
3J1 alloy generally adopts two processes, one is aging after solid solution treatment, and the other is direct aging after cold deformation. Aging treatment improves the microstructure of the alloy, precipitates dispersed strengthening phases, refines grains, improves the strength and elasticity of the alloy, and obtains good mechanical properties. Aging treatment determines the final performance of precipitation type alloys.

Generally, it can be divided into high elastic alloys and constant elastic alloys, which require high elastic limit, low non elastic effect, good heat resistance, and can work at very high temperatures; The other is that under certain temperature conditions, the elastic modulus does not change significantly. According to the requirements of physical and chemical properties, 3J01 elastic alloys can be divided into high-temperature high elastic alloys, high-temperature constant elastic alloys, corrosion-resistant high elastic alloys, high conductivity high elastic alloys, magnetic elastic alloys, non ferromagnetic elastic alloys, non magnetic or weak magnetic constant elastic alloys, etc.
3J1 welding performance
Alloys have better welding performance in the solid solution state than in the aging state, and can be used for spot welding, seam welding, argon arc welding, electron beam welding, as well as copper and silver based brazing. After aging treatment, the performance of spot welding and seam welding is poor. Low temperature tin and lead soft soldering can be carried out after nickel plating on the alloy surface.
The alloy is welded in a solid solution state and subjected to post weld aging treatment. After aging welding, attention should be paid not to let the temperature of the parts exceed the aging temperature to avoid reducing the alloy performance.
