NS1404 is a new type of nickel iron chromium molybdenum copper alloy formed by adding nitrogen to Alloy28, which significantly improves its corrosion resistance and stress corrosion resistance. The alloy has high strength, good plasticity, good cold working and welding performance, making it an iron nickel based alloy with excellent comprehensive performance. It has been applied to chemical processing such as H3PO4 and H2SO4, as well as ocean development, pulp, paper making, and flue gas desulfurization devices in coal-fired (oil) power plants. The austenitic structure of alloys is maintained by nitrogen, which stabilizes the structure while improving its strength, pitting resistance, and crack resistance. It will still have carbide and intermetallic phase precipitation, and the severity depends on the heating process, including temperature and time.
NS1404 corrosion-resistant alloy is a high-performance corrosion-resistant alloy material that can maintain material stability and high corrosion resistance for a long time under adverse environmental conditions. This alloy material is mainly composed of metal elements such as molybdenum, chromium, nickel, and tungsten, and is processed through precise proportions and melting processes. Its characteristic is its excellent strength and hardness, and its ability to maintain very stable properties in high temperature and high pressure environments, making it widely used in important fields such as chemical, petroleum, and marine engineering.
The main function of NS1404 corrosion-resistant alloy is to serve as a manufacturing material for equipment such as pipelines, containers, pumps, valves, etc., to cope with environmental pressure caused by corrosive media such as chemicals, seawater, and oxides. This alloy material can withstand the erosion of high-strength corrosive media, such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, ammonia, etc., and exhibits strong wear resistance. In addition, the molybdenum element contained in this alloy can also improve its oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, and heat resistance, enabling it to maintain stability and efficiency in high-temperature and high-pressure environments, thus having very broad application prospects.
