4J36 (Invar) alloy is a special low expansion nickel iron alloy with a very low coefficient of expansion. It has good plasticity and toughness. 4J36 is corrosion-resistant in dry air at room temperature. Resistant to corrosion in dry air at room temperature. Corrosion (rusting) may occur in other harsh environments such as humid air.
Expansion alloy products include: low expansion alloy 4J32, invar 4J36, niobium invar, Fe Ni Co glass sealing alloy 4J29 and 4J44, Fe Ni glass sealing alloy 4J42K, Fe Ni Co ceramic sealing alloy 4J33 and 4J34, and molybdenum copper nickel alloy (MoCuNi5) used for sealing B99 ceramics.
Characteristics and Application: Low expansion alloys have a low coefficient of linear expansion in the temperature range of -60 ºC -100 ºC. Used to manufacture various instrument components that are dimensionally stable within a temperature range. Widely used in industries such as microwave communication and precision instruments, such as microwave resonators, bimetallic wave layers, standard gauges, geodetic rulers, etc. Fe Ni Co glass sealing alloy has a certain coefficient of linear expansion in the temperature range of -60-400 ºC, which can be matched with hard glass and firmly sealed. Suitable for electronic vacuum devices such as emission tubes, oscillators, guide tubes, transistors, tube sealing plugs, relay housings, etc. Iron nickel glass sealing alloys are used for supporting sealing of soft glass or ceramics in the electronic vacuum industry.
