630 stainless steel is a precipitation, hardening, Martensitic stainless steel, composed of copper, niobium/columbium. This grade has characteristics such as high strength, hardness (up to 300 º C/572 º F), and corrosion resistance. After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the product are further improved, reaching a compressive strength of up to 1100 to 1300 Mpa. This grade cannot be used at temperatures higher than 300 ºC or very low. It has good corrosion resistance to atmosphere and diluted acid or salt. It has strong resistance to Corrosion fatigue and water drops.
The application fields of 630 stainless steel include offshore platforms, helidecks, food industry, pulp and Pulp and paper industry industry, aerospace, mechanical parts, nuclear waste barrels, chemical fiber industry, etc. It is often used to manufacture parts with high corrosion resistance and strength, such as bearings, turbine parts, turbine blades, etc.
1. Corrosion resistance: 630 stainless steel is a type of stainless steel with high hardness and good corrosion resistance. It is a type of steel that is resistant to high temperature, acid, and wear. 630 stainless steel has good heat resistance at higher temperatures and good corrosion resistance in neutral or slightly acidic alkaline environments.
2. Mechanical properties: 630 stainless steel is a high-strength stainless steel with very high strength and hardness. In high-temperature environments, the hardness and strength of 630 stainless steel remain good. Appropriate steel heat treatment can improve the mechanical properties of 630 stainless steel, increasing its strength to over 300MPa.
3. Processing performance: 630 stainless steel not only has good corrosion resistance, but also has good processing performance. Steel has a high hardness, but due to the chemical composition and high hardness of stainless steel, the precision of machining dimensions can be controlled through precise machining techniques to meet the manufacturing needs of precision components.
4. Thermal stability: 630 stainless steel has good thermal stability and can resist mechanical wear and other thermal and chemical effects that can degrade its performance.
