NS3201 is a nickel based high-temperature alloy composed of elements such as nickel, molybdenum, and cobalt. The nickel content of NS3201 is about 62%. NS3201 is widely used in fields such as chemical, petrochemical, energy manufacturing, and pollution control, especially in industries such as acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, and acetic acid.
NS3201 has the following characteristics: 1. By controlling the low content of Fe and Cr, it can prevent ni4mo from forming β Generation in phase. 2. It has excellent corrosion resistance to reducing environments. 3. Has good tolerance to moderate concentrations of sulfuric acid and many non oxidizing acids. 4. Good resistance to chloride reduction stress corrosion cracking (SCC). 5. Good resistance to various organic acid corrosion. The metallographic structure of NS3201: NS321 has a face centered cubic lattice structure. At temperatures ranging from 700 to 870 ºC, by controlling the Fe and Cr content, the processing brittleness was reduced and the precipitation of ni4mo phase was prevented.
NS3201 corrosion resistance: The carbon and silicon content of NS3201 is very low, reducing the precipitation of carbon and other impurity phases in HAZ. Therefore, the welds of Hastelloy B have sufficient corrosion resistance. NS3201 exhibits good corrosion resistance in reducing media such as hydrochloric acid solutions at different temperatures and concentrations. It also has good corrosion resistance in medium concentration Liu acid solution (or containing a certain amount of chloride ions). It can also be used in acetic acid and phosphoric acid environments. Only in the pure state can the corrosion resistance of the alloy reach its best level.
