NS1405 Heat Treatment System
The solution treatment temperature of the alloy is 1100-1150 ºC, with 1120 ºC being the optimal. For materials with a thickness greater than 3mm, water cooling should be used, while for materials with a thickness less than 3mm, rapid air cooling can be used.
NS1405 application areas:
This alloy has good comprehensive ability and can be used in strong oxidizing acidic media, especially in high temperature concentrated H2SO4. Its corrosion resistance is better than that of high silicon stainless steel, and its manufacturing performance is superior. It does not cause significant production difficulties and is not easy to weld. This alloy is also a corrosion-resistant structural material with superior performance in a mixed medium of H2SO4 and HNO3. NS1405 processing and welding:
The alloy Hot working temperature is 1000~1200 degrees. After Hot working, it needs to be cooled as soon as possible, and cold worked in the solution state. However, the alloy hardness is higher than all austenitic stainless steels, and equipment with large processing capacity is required. Good welding performance, basic welding methods are acceptable.
NS1405 corrosion resistance:
This alloy has corrosion resistance comparable to C276, uniform corrosion resistance, and special properties such as high strength, high plasticity, high toughness, and high thermal stability.
