4J28 alloy is an iron nickel based alloy, also known as Invar 36 alloy, mainly composed of iron, nickel, and cobalt, with the following characteristics:
1. Low linear expansion coefficient: The linear expansion coefficient of 4J28 alloy is very low, which can maintain a stable size within the temperature range. Therefore, it is widely used in the manufacturing of precision instruments, optical instruments, spacecraft, and so on.
2. High magnetic permeability: 4J28 alloy has high magnetic permeability and can be used to manufacture electronic components such as magnetic sensors, inductors, transformers, etc.
3. Good mechanical properties: 4J28 alloy has high strength, toughness, and plasticity, and can be used to manufacture various structural components.
4. Good corrosion resistance: 4J28 alloy has good corrosion resistance in atmospheric, water, acid, alkali and other media.
Forging conditions:
The forging temperature of 4J28 alloy should be controlled within the range of 950-1150 ºC, and the heating speed should not be too fast to avoid excessive temperature gradients and strain rates, which may affect material properties. During the forging process, the amount and speed of deformation should be controlled to avoid defects such as pipe cracks and surface cracks. The forged material should undergo annealing treatment to eliminate residual stress and improve microstructure and properties.
4J28 alloy is widely used in precision instruments, aerospace instruments, electronic components, mechanical structural components, and other fields. Due to its stable size and good mechanical properties, it can work stably under various temperatures and environments, and has been widely used.
